Description Mark Barrett 2006-07-22 05:29:20 UTC
I have three errors:
1. The MD5 sum reported as incorrect. A emerge --sync did not fix this, but it did seem to go away after solving #2. ???

2. After passing --digest flag to the build, I got an error during the configure stage asking for mdassembler to be installed. I believe this is to do with mono-doc and I have the -doc use flag enabled. Installing monodoc got around this issue.

3. I got many access violations during the compile stage:

Not sure why it would be trying to delete files in that directory? Very odd.

I need to install this package so that I can get ipod support in Banshee.

this is very strange because is everything alright here are you sure you didn't messed up your system ? The rsync mirror is an official mirror ? Please post your emerge --info. Make sure you have mono installed and you have /root/.wapi dir.

The build came from the official portage tree.
Installing ipod-sharp-0.5.15 seemed to get around the issue.

I have mono 1.1.13.6 installed and I can see the latest available is 1.1.16.1.

I did have one or two minor corruptions on my filesystem (reiserfs) recently, and I've fixed this now; though this was a completely new download and install. I've also synced my portage tree a few times since then.
