Hi, I tried to rebuild graphviz-2.6-r1 after the splitting of tcltk flags in tcl and tk flags. The emerge process start fine and it goes through to configuration of graphiz. Everything is normal until the config script hit ruby. At this stage I noticed extreme slowness on my iMac G4 after inspection in top there were mainly 2 processes involved: yes which took a fair deal of cpu and configure which didn't use that much cpu but at the time I noticed it was using 88% of my memory (I have 512MB of ram and 512MB of swap). Shortly after my computer froze. I tried to ssh into from another computer but never got access to the machine. On my second try I managed to kill the process before the machine froze. Third try was similar to the second one. Hi again some more stuff about this bug. I did an emerge --newuse world last night (to get hidden visibility into kde) and I had forgotten this graphviz bug. Ok, yesterday graphviz-2.8 has been marked stable on ppc and it doesn't suffer from this problem. Thus "solving" the bug after a fashion.
