Did you compile it with +imagemagick USE flag? Make sure it's still installed, or re-emerge it.
(In reply to comment #1) No it was compiled with -imagemagick USE flag. I added it to make.conf and re-emerged it now. The file export_im.so is now present. Thank you very much for your help!
