Comment 1 Matthew Turk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-17 11:08:54 UTC
Try the masked tetex-20030112 ebuild and see if that compiles.
Comment 2 guillaume 2003-01-17 16:27:02 UTC
indeed it compiles with masked ebuild
[/usr/portage/app-text/tetex/tetex-20030112.ebuild]

i still have a problem because doing emerge -pu world try to replace my
tetex-20030112 by tetex-1.0.7-r11

[ebuild UD] app-text/tetex-1.0.7-r11 [20030112]

i know that it is a really different issue and i should find a solution in docs
or forums. (=app-text/tetex-20030112 in world file is not working, still
looking for a solution ;) )
Comment 3 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-19 07:43:58 UTC
use PORTAGE_OVERLAY and place only this package in there

emerge sync never touches any file there
Comment 4 Matthew Turk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-02 21:08:48 UTC
Did you come to a satisfying conclusion? Soon enough teTeX-2.0 will be released, and this
will all be taken care of...
Comment 5 Matthew Turk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-03 00:38:58 UTC
Try tetex-2.0, just released.
Comment 6 Matthew Turk (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-02-05 01:21:43 UTC
Reopen if this is still a problem, as I think this is all taken care of with tetex-2.0.
