I'm using sys-kernel/win4lin-sources-2.4.20-r1, with i2c support built as a module.
The ebuild specifically notes that you need i2c 2.7.0 support in your kernel and notes 1 specific kernel which contains this. i2c-2.7.0 support is in gentoo-sources-2.4.20-r1 and will be in xfs-sources-2.4.20-r1. It is also on the pre-release xfs-sources which contain the win4lin patches as well. Please before posting bugs do a little bit of reading to see for yourself why something has failed rather than just posting a bug immediatly.
Well I did read all that of course. Since I can't run Win4Lin with any of the many other Gentoo kernels I'm stuck with sys-kernel/win4lin-sources. So will there be i2c-2.7.0 support in the win4lin-sources?
Can you read? xfs-sources _pre has BOTH of these things.
/me blushes. Thanks
