Description Steve Dibb (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-18 09:27:19 UTC
The 'guid' element of the RSS2 feed from Planet is wrong for the developers (view xml source)
Comment 1 Steve Dibb (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-14 18:53:23 UTC
Um, why is this wrong? guid is a unique identifier, not a working URL.
Comment 2 John N. Laliberte (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-09-15 04:26:04 UTC
this still isn't fixed in the feeds, it still shows:

http://planet.gentoo.org/developers/xmlsrv/935@http://planet.gentoo.org/developers/

let me know where the code is and i can take a look.

Right. What is it *supposed* to be? It's just a unique identifier, and it looks like it's sucessfully doing that to me.

I need to add isPermaLink="false" to the entry, and send a note upstream to fix it if they haven't already.
