I've completed an ebuild for spim/xspim.  SPIM is a MIPS R2000/R3000 Simulator
for assembly language programming.  It requires a minor patch to the Imakefile,
and a slightly unusual build process.  However, it seems to be working
flawlessly from my tests so far.

I've attached both the patch and the ebuild.  One thing that is missing from
this ebuild is the ability to build only spim (command line based) and not xspim
(X11 interface).  This is possible although it would be a little tricky, and I'm
not sure it's worth the effort for spim's small user base.

SPIM Imakefile patch

Patches the Imakefile of SPIM for appropriate build locations in Gentoo.
