The current stable version of ctrlproxy in portage (2.6.1) has a serious bug that doesn't allow many irc clients (scrollz, ircii, mirc, ksirc) to connect correctly.  Upgrading to 2.6.2 fixed the issues for me.  Please bump the version to 2.6.2 for ctlrproxy.

 * Don't crash when linestack_send() gets NULL as linestack
 * Support mIRC and ksirc
 * Support halfops
