Desktop: fluxbox, emerged konqueror-3.5.2 with flags +java, kdebase-kioslaves with +samba The bug was reproduced doing the following steps: $zip test_file.zip somefolder/somefiles.txt $unzip -qt test_file.zip No errors detected in compressed data of test_file.zip $kfmclient openProfile filemanagement Now in konqueror, open the file typing in the url zip:/home/user/test_file.zip browse the folder and then exit the browsing by pressing the button UP twice. You should now be in /home/user. Get back to the terminal and repeat the step: $unzip -qt test_file.zip somefolder/somefiles.txt bad CRC 1e8497af (should be 00000000) At least one error was detected in test_file.zip. Everytime I do this the zip gets corrupted Plus I have no idea on how to disable zip integration. is this still an issue with newer versions of konqueror?
I haven't been using konqueror since... As soon as I have some free time I will try to compile it again and see if still breaks the zip files.
Tested with kde-base/konqueror-3.5.5 and the bug is no longer reproducible. Marked as fixed
