when i execute nxtevpg I get: """failed to initialise the tk library at '/usr/lib/tk8.4' - exiting. tk error message: this isnt a tk applicationunknown color name "black"""" (and it just does not start...)
I forgot, my system is a x86 and everything is up to date!
Please, don't mangle ebuild names in bug reports, damn hard to find such obscure thing. It would also help to post exact errors and not stick a bunch of typos there. Anyway, remove RgbPath from your xorg.conf and try again. It is fails, post the exact error, exact ebuild version, emerge --info and reopen then.
Hi, thanks for the fast help!! same with the newest version of nxtvepg (2.7.6). If using the newest version of tk/tcl (8.4.13) the bug disappears but the window which appears does not have _any_ content... so this seems to be related to tk/tcl... whats wrong there?
Everything looks fine here using tk 8.4.9 and nxtvepg 2.7.6 - indeed, must be something messy on your system. I have no idea what's going wrong there.
Sorry, still no idea.
