jared, qpkg -f /var/tmp/portage reveals that gimp-freetype emerges things into that dir, which will obviously cease to exist once the package is merged. Please fix by making sure it installs things into the real filesystem
here are a few more: # qpkg -f /var/tmp/portage/ gnome-base/libgnomeprint * media-gfx/gimp-freetype * sys-devel/gdb * x11-wm/enlightenment *
Fixed in gimp-freetype-0.2-r3
jared -- take care of gdb as well, please
adding gnome team for the libgnome and enlightenment entries
libgnomeprint installs nothing for me in portage .. which version are you using exactly ?
sorry i forgot to use -v with qpkg, it was 2.1.5 so it can safely be ignores as it's fixed in 2.1.7 and isn't even in portage
I tested gdb, libgnomeprint and enlightenment. I could find no misplaced files with any of them. Bartosch Pixa, could you please update your versions of these programs and confirm?
both were the lastest version, but after i emerge -C'ed them and remerged all was fine again.
talking about enlightenment and gdb in my last comment, libgnomeprint is from a nonportage ebuild so it doesn't matter
k, looks like we're all set with this :)
