Description Stefano 2006-07-13 09:25:07 UTC
At random times, after a while I'm using X + KDE, it begins to behave weirdly, and looking at the console I see a load of messages like:
error 189 request 154 minor 14

I tried to google for the meaning of this error, but it's totally obscure.

Hints on how to debug this thing ?
Comment 1 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-13 13:59:24 UTC
emerge --info? Xorg version? Something interesting in syslog? Some steps to reproduce? We can't guess, really. :)
Comment 2 Stefano 2006-07-14 02:02:00 UTC
Lol, you're right. Trouble is, I don't see anything remotely interesting anywhere !

Let's see:

FreeFontPath: FPE "/usr/share/fonts/misc/" refcount is 2, should be 1; fixing.

No other messages elsewhere pop to me as being conspicuous... that's why I'm puzzled :(

Could you add xorg-server, all your drivers and mesa to package.keywords and try 7.1?
