Well, the title says it all really... Latest blackbox requires CVS versions of the tool (see the bug I'm going to post in a moment); older versions can be build, but won't connect to the WM. Attached you will find a patch which clarifies this dependency in the current ebuild.
Created attachment 91643 [details, diff] bbpager-0.3.1.ebuild-no070.patch
Created attachment 101804 [details] Updated Ebuild for beta of bbpager that works with blackbox 0.70 I created this ebuild, that uses the beta build of bbpager, that is deamed somewhat stable. It works for me, and I haven't seen any problems.
Please stabilise this package on ppc, ppc64, and x86. I added amd64 to CC as it seems to be working fine, so you might want to stabilise it as well. I know the package has only just been committed just to the portage tree, but the only stable version of it depends on a version of blackbox that is *NOT* in the tree, meaning it is quite useless.

checking for libbt... Package libbt was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libbt.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'libbt' found I ran into bug #152489 when trying to emerge libbt, so I cannot test it here, so no stable on x86. :)

I have bbpager installed with libbt nowhere to be found on my system. $ grep DESCRIPTION /usr/portage/net-libs/libbt/libbt-1.05.ebuild DESCRIPTION="libBT is an implementation of the BitTorrent core protocols in C"
bbpager's configure.in indeed doesn't contain any mention of libbt - not even a single pkg-config macro.

Removing dependency on bug 152489. Dependency on blackbox has been added, emerges and works fine on amd64.
