I've made a new ebuild for the dev version, fixes the mentioned bug. However, as one of my first ebuilds I'm sure it won't be valid. Can anyone point out to me how I should have done the VERSION? Thanks
there's now version 0.11.2 available. this should simplify your problem with the version, i guess. i've installed 0.11.2_dev2 with your ebuild (named it pymsn-t-0.11.2_alpha2.ebuild), and it works. i haven't tried 0.11.2 (final) though.
dev-python/pyopenssl is required as a dependency. Also, PyMSNt 0.11.2 has now been out for almost a month, any chance of getting it in the tree? It fixes some fairly major bugs.
I'm seeing a problem where the pymsn-t init.d script starts it, but gives an error. If, instead of it, I change the script to call /sbin/start-stop-daemon, it works right, starting and stopping the transport.
Created attachment 111696 [details] pymsn-t-0.11.2.ebuild Working ebuild for 0.11.2 final of the transport. Removed the dependency on Twsited-Xish (which is not needed, or at least the transport works OK without it).
Created attachment 111698 [details] pymsn-t.initd Initscript for the ebuild I uploaded before.

Hope those files I uploaded helps
I have just added pymsn-t 0.11.2 to portage. Thanks for making my job easier ;) Adrian, can you please check if you still have a problem with the exit status on amd64?
