Unless you have exo-0.3.1.8 installed, terminal-0.2.5.4_beta2 fails with:

checking for exo-0.3 >= 0.3.1.8... found, but 0.3.1.6beta1
*** The required package exo-0.3 was found on your system,
*** but the installed version (0.3.1.6beta1) is too old.
*** Please upgrade exo-0.3 to atleast version 0.3.1.8, or adjust
*** the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed
*** the new version of the package in a nonstandard prefix so
*** pkg-config is able to find it.

uploaded a proposal of ebuild.
Maybe there is the need to make a revision bump

This was fixed in 0.2.5.8_rc2. Thanks for reporting.
