postinstall text for phpmyadmin has a small error. This: cp /var/www/localhost/htdocs/phpmyadmin/config.inc.php /var/www/localhost/htdocs/phpmyadmin/config should be: cp /var/www/localhost/htdocs/phpmyadmin/libraries/config.inc.php /var/www/localhost/htdocs/phpmyadmin/config
actually another typo...it's config.default.php -->> config.inc.php, so: cp /var/www/localhost/htdocs/phpmyadmin/libraries/config.default.php /var/www/localhost/htdocs/phpmyadmin/config/config.inc.php
not really, check out section 3.2 at http://www.phpmyadmin.net/home_page/docs.php as the comment says, the line you're referring to is meant for editing an _existing_ config.inc.php
Ah that's true, you're right. I've used the default config though and it worked great. I find when I use the phpmyadmin configurator I end up screwing things up. Is there anything wrong with using the default config? Maybe this possible setup option could be added to the postinstall txt then?
