k9copy crashes when the (internal) burning-function should start. The authoring (ripping end re-encoding) works. > burning with k3b works fine. I mean if I choose "burn with k3b" in k9copy k3b opens when the authoring has finished and I can burn the DVD.
Please check if this issue is still present with k9copy-1.1.0 (warning there are new dependancies....).
Get back to us...
I switched to Arch-Linux a few months ago and deleted my gentoo installation. So I can't test the new version...
I restored my Gentoo-Backup today, ran emerge --sync && emerge -avuDN world and installed the hardmasked version-1.1.0 no problems! tested with 3 different DVDs and k9copy-temp folder on ext3 and FAT32. So I think it's fixed with version-1.1.0
