new ebuild for a framebuffer screenshot utility. VERY handy. for an example of a screenshot taken (and showing off my new splashy console) see http://ghetto.peterjohanson.com/splash_screenshot2.png seems to work best w/ vesa, the radeon fb driver works w/ this, but requires a command option to get it to do 8bpp grabs. Had to hack the Makefile to accept CFLAGS, and to not do the splint line since there's no splint in portage and it's an uneccesary step anyway. enjoy!

Created attachment 7461 [details] supernova_splashes.tar.gz seemant told me to add this and change the bug to be assigned to tad since he's doing bootsplash stuff... this attachment contains a different colored supernova for each vc, and a sample config file i use. The yellow images is the same one in the linked picture above. only problem i've had is some text when copying w/ gpm doesn't show what's being highlighted. probably can change the text or background color and fix that.
Ebuild is commited ~x86 masked. I'm marking this bug as REMIND so I don't forget about the images. I don't think I can move attachments between bugs in bugzilla.
hey tad, the ebuild commited doesn't have the "mv fbgrab.1.man fbgrab.1" line. this is neseccary cause the package creates a file named fbgrab.1.man. which doman won't like. as is there is an error about not finding fbgrab.1
