The following in epplets-0.7-r1.ebuild RDEPEND causes enlightenment to downgrade to 0.16.8 after upgrading to newly stable 0.16.8.1: <=x11-wm/enlightenment-0.16.8 Subsequent emerge -u world commands bounces back & forth between 0.16.8 and 0.16.8.1. Changing the offending RDEPEND line to <=x11-wm/enlightenment-0.16.8.1 appears to fix the problem. Created attachment 91425 [details] Proposed ebuild epplets-0.7-r2.ebuild Created epplets-0.7-r2.ebuild. After using w/ my local Portage overlay, this appears to fix the problem of bouncing back & forth betwen enlightenment versions. I tested several epplets, and all worked.
You need 0.9 for this to work w/ >=enlightenment-0.16.8... 0.7 is broken there.
(In reply to comment #2) > You need 0.9 for this to work w/ >=enlightenment-0.16.8... 0.7 is broken there. > Could we get epplets-0.9 marked stable ASAP? epplets-0.7-r1 is causing enlightentment to toggle back and forth between 0.16.8 and 0.16.8.1 every time emerge -NuDav world is done.
done ASAP
