gift-gnutella 0.0.10.1 does not properly calculate the sha1 hash of a file after download - making it appear to be corrupt upon completion. this bug is fixed in the cvs repository - however without this being patched, gift is quite unusable.
Created attachment 91395 [details, diff] fixes sha1.c for amd64 This is a diff between version 0.0.10.1 of gift-gnutella's sha1.c and the current sha1.c in the cvs repository. . It will fix the issue that people on amd64 are having with corrupt downloads.
Does 0.0.11 in portage have this patch applied?
This is fixed in 0.0.11. Arches please stabilize that version.
