Revdep-rebuild shows a broken dependency: Checking dynamic linking consistency... broken /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libXaw7.so.7.0.0 (requires libXpm.so.4) From what I gather libXpm.so.4 should be provided by emul-linux-x86-xlibs-7.0-r1. But alas, it is not.
err yeah it is!? $ equery f =app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-7.0-r1 | grep Xpm /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libXpm.so /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libXpm.so.4 /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libXpm.so.4.11.0
Eh, no it isn't: markuspc markus # equery f =app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-7.0-r1 | grep Xpm markuspc markus #
equery f =app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-7.0-r1 | grep Xpm /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libXpm.so /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libXpm.so.4 /emul/linux/x86/usr/lib/libXpm.so.4.11.0 It's there for me. Re-emerge it, something is wrong with your system.
Not to be a pain, but can someone tell me where to get a functional emul-linux-x86-xlibs-7.0-r1.tar.bz2? I tried fetching it all day and all of them fail MD5 verification. If I skip MD5 it installs fine, but there is no libXpm.so.4. Everything else is there.
I have the correct version, so I've put it up to re-sync to the mirrors. In the mean time, you can download it here: http://dev.gentoo.org/~dang/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-7.0-r1.tar.bz2
Works perfectly now. Thanks! revdep-rebuild is clean.
