just tested emerging tribes2 as an ~amd64 ebuild and it was succesfull, I'll attach the ebuild I used, but just changed the keyword

games-fps/tribes2-25034 runs great with amd64 and I see no reason for it to bee masked on amd64.

It isn't ~amd64 for a reason.  The patching is broken on it and doesn't work properly.  I've since made it -amd64 so hopefully nobody requests this again until I can look at it.
