When trying to emerge eclipse:

 emerge -pv eclipse-sdk

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies /
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=dev-java/blackdown-jdk-1.5".
(dependency required by "dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.2" [ebuild])

Whereas:

emerge -pv jdk

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   R   ] virtual/jdk-1.5  0 kB

AND:

emerge -pv sun-jdk

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies... done!
[ebuild   Rf  ] dev-java/sun-jdk-1.5.0.07  USE="X alsa nsplugin -doc -examples -jce" 0 kB

Thus a 1.5 JDK is installed an available, whereas blackdown 1.5 seems to be till masked (and not really necessary, I doubt the sun-jdk won't do the job)

If it's nessary to re-emerge all our JRE's/JDK's, wouldn't make sense to revbump all of them?
