There are multiple problems here.  First it's very odd that the nvidia package won't unpack, which is why you fail the patch.  Next, you have "x86-fbsd x86_fbsd" set as USE flags but you clearly are not on a FreeBSD system.  So the nvidia package is very confused.  Please clean up your use flags, run "emerge --newuse world" to clean up everything (hopefully), and try again.  If all else fails try to reinstall this system with clean USE flags.  If after all of this you still have problems, reopen this bug with new info.
