Bug 139549 – rsync7.de.gentoo.org moving to new server

Hi,

I'd like to move rsync7.de.gentoo.org from 213.239.215.148 to 88.198.224.205. The rsync server is running and is currently being synced against the old mirror. Once access to rsync1.us has been granted I'll update the sync script and DNS records can be updated afterwards. Thanks!

The system is located in the same data center and is using the same connection, so there shouldn't be any loss in quality.

Hi Sven,

I've added 88.198.224.205 to the ACL, you should be able to start syncing from the new server in a while.

Once it's updated and working fine, I'll remove access for 213.239.215.148 and updated DNS as well.

Thanks Shyam! The cronjob has been updated to sync against rsync1.us and everything is alright from my side.

The mirror is also part of the europe rotation, did you update that record as well?
