It's nice to have this into portage. I aded exiv2 support that was posted here http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=137260

I'm not so sure it's interesting to have this in portage. Upstream makes frequent releases, especially when new features are added.
CVS snapshots are really useful when there is a huge difference between the cvs code and the last release, which isn't the case at all here.

Resolving as WONTFIX, feel free to reopen if there is a change of situation and a CVS ebuild becomes useful/needed.
