kiki does not start, the output on console is

freeglut ERROR: Function <glutSolidCube> called without first calling 'glutInit'.

so you have freeglut instead of glut installed, right?  Can you try it with glut as well and see if that works?

yes, it works with glut.

I confirm the patch fixes this reported bug. thanks. for the next crash, which happens regardless of glut/freeglut, see 139521.
