I run xfce4.. When i emerge adesklets it runs fine or so it seems.. but when i run adesklets --xfce4 it comes with an error messege saying that xprop is an unknown command. so i emerged xprop and then adesklets --xfce4 runs fine

It does depend on x11-apps/xprop - just read the ebuild.
