i855crt working here for some time now, it's good to go stable
Comment 1 Krzysztof Pawlik (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-01 04:26:28 UTC
I don't have hardware to test this package (as it's Intel i855 specific).
Comment 2 Sérgio Luís 2006-07-01 05:02:52 UTC
I suppose the maintainer listed in metadata.xml has this hardware.

Btw, is it a wrong procedure to CC the maintainer/herd when filling stable request bugs?
Comment 3 Simon Stelling (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-07-02 01:57:50 UTC
this is a no-go. It works fine here as long as i set the --no-cursor option (or similiar, i'm not at the laptop right now), but then, you obviously don't have a cursor. If I don't specify that option, I get random pixel trash in the left top corner. I already notified upstream about it, but it seems to be dead, so I'd really rather not mark this stable.
