Strange, I wasn't able to reproduce this... I anyway added --mandir to dev-lang/php's configure call now, so it should always have the correct path passed to it now. Try emerging dev-lang/php-5.1.4-r4 as soon as it appears on the mirrors, thanks! Best regards, CHTEKK.
