Description Tim Watson 2006-06-30 03:20:55 UTC
I think this package needs compiling with -fPIC.

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/3.4.6/../../../../x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/bin/ld: warning: creating a DT_TEXTREL in object.

Comment 1 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-30 03:50:58 UTC
On a side note, -pipex is not a valid flag.
Comment 2 Tim Watson 2006-06-30 04:26:13 UTC
Indeed - that is a typo I didn't spot (should be -pipe) and this resolves the compile problem.
Apologies.
