Description Björn Schöpe 2006-06-30 00:11:02 UTC
Running Scribus 1.3.3.2 on Gentoo/PPC in KDE 3.5.3 I noticed that it is installed no longer in Italian (language flags are set in make.conf) but only in English. But even after choosing English as default it resets to nothing, means that in Preferences-General-Language the field remains blank.
Starting Scribus the splash screens is dark grey, only the text appears in white. In Scribus the icons are only grey, with no symbols inside. Functions seem to work but it is not very comfortable..
I think in the last versions this did not happen as far as I can remember.

I can confirm now, that after downgrading to 1.3.3.1 everything works fine again, localisation and icons! So it seems that 1.3.3.2 only is affected. Greetings.

Can you check if this problem still occurs in 1.3.3.3?

Sorry, I can't. After a couple of problems with Gentoo I switched to Ubuntu and because of problems of space ammount I have no longer any Gentoo running on this box.

Reporter no longer uses gentoo, so no chance to verify, others please re-open if this occurs.
