Description Andrea Carpani 2006-06-29 01:00:52 UTC
It looks like on my setup pango ebuild fails due to its inability to fetch packages:

cronos ~ # emerge  x11-libs/pango
Calculating dependencies... done!
>>> Emerging (1 of 1) x11-libs/pango-1.10.3 to /
>>> checking ebuild checksums ;-)
>>> checking auxfile checksums ;-)
>>> checking miscfile checksums ;-)
>>> Unpacking source...

!!! ERROR: x11-libs/pango-1.10.3 failed.
Call stack:
  ebuild.sh, line 1539:   Called dyn_unpack
  ebuild.sh, line 711:   Called src_unpack
  pango-1.10.3.ebuild, line 44:   Called unpack ''
  ebuild.sh, line 355:   Called die

!!! Nothing passed to the 'unpack' command
!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, and the call stack if relevant.

There's no SRC_URI in the ebuild so I guess it gets packages from somewhere else (eclass maybe?). The problem is that with my setup it gets no file to download.

It works fine for me. SRC you get from inherit gnome2 which get it from gnome.org.eclass. So check if your ebuild inherit gnome2, gnome2.eclass inherit gnome.org and gnome.org.eclass has defined SRC_URI.

My fault. I had an overlay with some eclasses in it.
