ok, i took the masked package (arch-landry) and tried to emerge it. Apparently the configure script detects (system) libneon and doesn't build the included one. But the neon-21.3 installed on my system did not contain some symbols uri_abs_*. When i unmerge neon all is ok. if i emerge the neon-25.5 all is ok, too. So either add a new dependency(>= 25.x), or .... ?

Michal, we only have neon 23.8 as the latest in portage.  what's this version 25 you speak of?

It appears that nobody's interested in taking over maintainership of this package, and that nobody really objects to it being removed from Portage, so I'm proceeding with the removal and dropping this report.
