Description Felix Eckhofer 2003-01-12 13:34:09 UTC
After emerging tetex, executing "xdvi file" results in mf not being able to
render the Fonts. The Error-Message states:"I can't find the base file". It
works after "inimf mf" in /var/lib/texmf/web2c - shouldn't this be done
automatically?

Indeed the tetex ebuild is incomplete. There is at least one missing file that
shows up in the Red Hat rpm. This bug is also blocking bug 13396

I think I've just fixed this in tetex-1.0.7-r12, could you please give it a try
and let me know?

Thanks,
Aron

Seems to work for me now. But I can't guarantee I reverted all prior changes I
had made to get it to work...

Should also be fixed in 2.0. Closing.
