Description Rafal Wijata 2006-06-23 13:26:39 UTC
I'm trying to install gentoo on current suse installation(within chroot), however upgrading glibc result in above error. Is there a way to ignore that check?

Portage 2.0.54 (default-linux/x86/2006.0, gcc-3.4.4, glibc-2.3.5-r2, 2.6.8-24.23-smp i686)

Comment 1 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-06-23 13:28:58 UTC
No, sorry. It's needed for glibc to compile.
Comment 2 Rafal Wijata 2006-06-23 13:35:47 UTC
So I have to wait till new system is up and running?
Can;t upgrade gcc/glibc until I compile everything I need, and then run the new system?
I just wanted all to be compiled with gcc41 at first...
Whatever...
