I've blocked a contact under Windows XP MSN Messenger 7.5, and Gaim simply crashed whem tried to load the contact list.
Unblocking the contact in aMSN solved this problem.
The interesting thing was that, gaim said there was a glibc invalid pointer 
issue, so maybe Gaim dev team should be notified...

This isn't a bug, so it's state should be changed to FIXED or SOLVED, but I think, this is something you should know about...

There is a bug filed upstream regarding this error. Will keep an eye on the bug for progress.
