Description ta2002 2006-06-22 09:22:54 UTC
I don't know if lives requires sox, but the ebuild shows a requirement with a minimum version, and then later a requirement depending on the sox use flag:

DEPEND=">=media-video/mplayer-0.90-r2

                >=media-video/ffmpeg-0.4.8

What's the point of the flag at all?
Comment 2 Mark Loeser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-03-26 00:21:54 UTC
I went ahead and removed the flag since I couldn't find any reason for having it and the bug has just been sitting around for ages now :)
