Description Nakul Hoelz 2006-06-21 11:56:19 UTC
I just issued "emerge sync" and the directory /usr/portage/dev-php/php is missing
from the portage tree.
I get the following error message:

# emerge --pretend --newuse --update --deep world

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating world dependencies -
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-php/php".
(dependency required by "www-apps/horde-3.1.1-r1" [ebuild])

!!! Problem resolving dependencies for www-apps/horde-chora
!!! Depgraph creation failed.

In other words ... not good!
I am wondering

dev-php/php was removed a while ago and replaced with dev-lang/php, please upgrade: http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/php/php-upgrading.xml
