Using addpredict works, though there may be a better fix.
Created attachment 90229 [details] log of emerging rhythmbox-0.9.5 SPARC is seeing this issue as well. Attaching a complete log of the emerge process on a box I can readily reproduce this issue on (running with ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~sparc" and updated on a daily basis).
issue here on ~x86 as well log of emerge attached
Created attachment 90328 [details] log of 0.9.5 compile on ~x86
I'm one of RB's upstream developers, and just got pointer toward this. I'm not a gentoo person, but is there a way of getting it to report the access violation (or abort) when it occurs? Unless someone can figure out what is trying to access gconf, it will probably be hard to fix.
Either of these files would be somewhat helpful LOG FILE = "/var/log/sandbox/sandbox-media-sound_-_rhythmbox-0.9.5-8337.log" LOG FILE = "/var/log/sandbox/sandbox-media-sound_-_rhythmbox-0.9.5-24820.log" Also, perhaps the Makefiles?
seems solved by now (just checked the ebuild and it contains the addpredicts). Can we close this ?
marking fixed since these changes are already in cvs.
