Description chuck clark 2003-01-11 16:17:44 UTC
In the ALSA guide it says:
"Check the ALSA portion at the top of the file. By adding this line you can
specify the max number of soundcards you have (generally, just one)."

I just was installing the ALSA drivers and it appears this line has been added
to the *bottom* of the file already.

#Set this to the correct number of cards.
options snd cards_limit=1

However, one of the options is missing, snd_major=116. I don't know what that
option does.
