Description Ian Hands 2006-06-20 08:22:09 UTC
Whenever loging out of a gnome session, a dialoge presents it self stating "multiload-applet-2 has failed". It gives the gui options of closing the program or informing developers. I'm not sure if the bug if acctually file with the devs as the only time I encounter the problem is when I am logging out.

Also recompiling gnome-applets doesn't fix the situation. This is not a big issue, but most likely has a very simple fix.

what is the output of running '/usr/libexec/multiload-applet-2' in the console (you might have to readd the system-monitor applet to a panel) ?
Comment 2 Ian Hands 2006-06-21 07:11:31 UTC
$ /usr/libexec/multiload-applet-2
Bonobo accessibility support initialized
GTK Accessibility Module initialized
application finalize called

looks normal right?
The problem still happens when it is reloaded into the panel. Btw i am running all of the latest stable (e.g. not ~x86) gnome packages. Again this problem doesn't affect usability, because it only happens when logging out, or when the applet recieves the kill siganl (e.g. removing it fromthe panel or shutting down)

Ian, can you reproduce with newer versions of gnome-panel?

Thanks

Sorry I have forgot about this bug for a long while... I believe trashing my ~/.gnome folder or removing and re adding the panels fixed my situation.

I apologize for not updating the bug.
