I'll attach a diff of uw-imap-2002a and uw-imap-2002b. The problem is that I discovered this while creating an ebuild that *only* requires the c-client libraries - should the c-client be a different ebuild instead of forcing the user to emerge the entire server?
Created attachment 7204 [details] 2 line change for uw-imap-2002a to uw-imap-2002b
In my opinion I think that the uw-imap build should not be split up. Unless there is some worthwhile advantage to splitting them. I have added uw-imap-2002b to portage. Currently marked unstable.
OK, not splitting it up is fine with me as long as scripts, etc. with identical names in /etc are not conflicting with another imap server (say...courier imap). I've been running into other issues while trying to put together the dev- perl/Mail-Cclient ebuild anyway and will have to investigate whether the uw- imap install will be sufficient to build the perl module. Thanks for adding the ebuild, I'm not sure if you noticed that the 2002a binaries *no longer exist* on UW's servers and the uw-imap2002a ebuild will fail.
