net-im/kopete-0.12.0 does not work properly when the user is invited to a jabber MUC chat room and the attached patch was committed to upstream svn recently to fix this. See the following KDE bug: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128997

Basically upon accepting a MUC invitation kopete will not open a proper groupchat window and it will treat each incoming message as though it were from a different person and do other weird things, making it almost impossible to participate.

I have been using the patch for the past day. It appears to work fine and I've had no trouble being invited into jabber MUC groupchats.
