Hi,

If this is a dupplication, I appologize in advance. For some reason, I can't
emerge mozilla r4 on both of my pentium 2. These info are from the last build:

This is the error, the first ocurrence:

distcc gcc -o Linux2.4_x86_glibc_PTH_OPT.OBJ/softkver.o -c -O2 -fPIC -DLINUX1_2

And this is the last one:

And then somehow it starts again, and truly stop:

Note on various things:

In a build previous to this one, I didn't use distcc and got the same exact
error but I didn't save that emerge info.
This is the 4th time it failed that I saved the outputs. I now have tried on
2 different systems with similar results. These errors happened before and after
I tried emerge -u world. Now, both machine are almost the same. I haven't
tried emerge -e world.

Try to change -march to the more generic one maybe ? i686 for example ..
Comment 2 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-04-22 06:24:52 UTC
seems to be fixed in never version (mozilla, glibc, gcc)
