Description Aaron 2006-06-11 11:42:20 UTC
The default rules of udev 090 do not allow ptp cameras to be accessed by gphoto2 as a user.

Using the suggestion at http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-357214-postdays-0-postorder-asc-highlight-camera-start-25.html
allows my camera to be accessed by gphoto2 as a user.

No, you need to create a custom rule for your camera, we can't change _all_
usb device nodes to be writable by anyone, that's not a good security policy :)
