Hi! I have prepared an ebuild for a powerdot latex package, which is a presentation class for LaTeX that allows for the quick and easy development of professional presentations. The package is based on ha-prosper, but it was rewritten from scratch. There is one problem with the attached ebuild: it requires an updated "xkeyval" package (at least version 2.5c). The problem is that "xkeyval" package is included in tetex-3, but the version is outdated. A simple solution might be to remove the "xkeyval" package from the tetex-3 installation and provide it as an extra package by updating dev-tex/xkeyval package. BR, /ediap

Um... you guys don't need to remove xkeyval from tetex-3, just download xkeyval (http://tug.ctan.org/get?fn=/macros/latex/contrib/xkeyval.zip) and unzip it in your ~/texmf/tex/latex directory and run texhash. It will take precedence over the xkeyval included with tetex-3

Hi, I'm interested in the powerdot package, but it is not in my portage tree (december 2008). Under development? Abandoned? kind regards, Klaas
