Since yesterday a new version of xchat is available. changelog: http://xchat.org/changelog.txt Please update the ebuild in portage.
Just renaming 2.6.2 ebuild to 2.6.4 builds and runs fine on my x86 system.
It should be great to have this patch in the ebuild : http://xchat.org/files/source/2.6/patches/xc264-fix-cursor.diff (with it, the cursor is visible on black background) ...and add "$(use_enable spell)" to the ebuild too.

Comment on attachment 89402 [details] xchat-2.6.4.ebuild It would be nice if xdccserver is included in 2.6.4 as well. I have created the ebuild with xdccserver support. Please find attached.

this worked great for me.. though there is a problem you have attached two ebuilds exactly the same filename, which one is newer? also gentoo devs dont like people linking offsite for the patches ie xchat.org so you might want to attach those.

The newer is the last, with the newest date ;) I didn't attach the first ebuild, so I can't mark it as obsolete. > also gentoo devs dont like people linking offsite for the patches ie xchat.org > so you might want to attach those. Ok, no problem.
