Description Matthew Swank 2003-01-09 13:47:22 UTC
Since about Jan 8, 18:00, emerge gtkmm gives the following error:

Calculating dependencies  ...done!
>>> emerge (1 of 1) x11-libs/gtkmm-2.2.0 to /
>>> No message digest entry found for archive"gtkmm-2.2.0.tar.bz2."
!!! Most likely a temporary problem. Try 'emerge rsync' again later.
!!! If you are certain of the authenticity of the file then you may type
!!! the following to generate a new digest:
!!!   ebuild /usr/portage/category/package/package-version.ebuild digest

I have done an emerge rsync before every subsequent attempt.
Comment 1 Martin Holzer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-09 14:16:56 UTC
please do
rm /var/cache/edb/dep/x11-libs/gtkmm-*
Comment 2 Matthew Swank 2003-01-09 14:42:22 UTC
Note: deleting /var/cache/edb/dep/x11-libs/gtkmm-* didn't actually work, but I
went ahead and got the md5sum from the gnome ftp site. My question is why the
digest never got updated
Comment 3 foser (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-01-14 10:28:44 UTC
should be fixed now.
