New version. From the author's page: "What's New (2-12-06) "There were quite a few minor SMP bugs in powernowd 0.96. It would work, but not wuite optimally. Especially on multi-socket, multi-core systems. Now that I have an Athlon X2, I was able to see what was wrong myself and fix it. There may still be a few bugs, but things should work much better now. I also changed the thread detection logic to use the cpufreq 'affected_cpus' file. This should be a lot more reliable." I am running 0.97 on my Core Duo setup and it's fine. Just version bumping the ebuild to 0.97 will suffice (the ebuild/package is so simple anyway).
Created attachment 89486 [details] powernow-0.97.ebuild pretty much just bumped
Created attachment 89487 [details] conf.d file includes options from powernowd -h, for those of us that are lazy ;-)
Please add, it has some important bug fixes for two-or-more kernel CPUs
thanks, I have bumped it :)
